Katelyn Rushe (b. 1989) is a native of Bethel Park, PA. She started writing in grade school and had several poems, short stories, and articles published in magazines and anthologies. Her first novel "Deer Lake" was self-published in 2007.

Rushe studied Media Arts at Robert Morris University, and she has participated in a number of film, TV, and commercial productions in the Pittsburgh area.​
